Description:
Ornamental Bonding: First Friday Papier-Mâché Workshop at CHF

Make ornaments to hang on your tree, menorah, bicycle, or door knob as you learn about the science behind the process from CHF staff. Find out what it is that makes this tradition stick, both literally and figuratively, at this final Manual Science event of 2009.

As always, you'll have the chance to explore our permanent exhibition, Making Modernity, and sLowlife, a dynamic multimedia exhibition that presents plants as complex, living beings, on display through 13 January 2010.

CHF joins over 40 Old City museums, galleries, and shops in opening its doors for First Friday. In addition to extending our hours until 8:00 p.m., each event features fascinating special guest speakers and interactive activities. Please note, Manual Science programming will resume in March 2010.
