“Dramatic Evolution: Bringing Science to the Stage”

On a dark night in a subterranean lab, a feisty student and a mild-mannered biologist meet for a casual encounter ... but end up changing the course of humanity. That’s the story behind Flashpoint Theatre Company’s production of boom. Playwright Peter Sinn Nachtrieb is a former biology major who often examines science through the lens of theatre. The darkly funny play imagines the creation story of the next form of life on Earth. For this bonus edition of Science on Tap, meet the directors and actors who are bringing science to theater-goers.
Presented by the Chemical Heritage Foundation.
